AOS I-485:Timeline & interview experience
Like many others, this forum benefited me a lot , especially during those nerve wracking days.Outlining my end to end timeline & Interview experience below.

Timeline:

• I 1485 AOS filed on Aug 16, 2018 - EB2 (priority date was current then, and remained current). • EAD/AP received on Feb 07, 2019 (online updates started coming in ~1 week prior to receiving)
• Online Status updated to Ready for Interview scheduled on Apr 15, 2019
• Approx 4-5 days later got letter with Interview date of May 23 2019 (details below)
• Text/Email Card Is Being Produced May 23, 2019. Note: I am primary, however, only my wife got email/text updates from USCIS and her status updated as well…mine still stated "Ready for interview"
• Received AOS approval letter for both me & wife via postal mail, May 28
• Online USCIS update on May 30, 2019- Card Mailed and USPS tracking # was given
• Card expected - June 01

Interview:
We were at office early and interview started 20 mins early
I organized documents very well and carried original & copy of most standard documents.
IO asked for Job duties as first question...perhaps I gave long answer than he expected. No further question on employment, Company or employment history.
He asked for Employment Verification letter
He asked for most recent I 94 and when you arrived in the US last.
Marriage proof (it was open ended- provide what docs. you have). We carried and provided Marriage album, Joint house deed, joint insurance (car and medical), and joint tax returns for 3 years (imp.)
Submitted medicals as we had not submitted them during AOS filing
He asked and collected Children birth certificates
He went over most AOS questions (not every question, but I would say key biographic ones)
Trick question: I was asked questions related to my wife (e.g., her birth place etc.) and vice versa
Asked for copies of AP/DP, Driver license
In the end, he mentioned, I will recommend your case for approval. After that, it was casual talk for couple of mins on weekend plan etc.

I waited for many years for priority date to be current...indeed, overall process need lot of patience. with many lows and highs.

Thank you all and good luck!

Still waiting
Hi Everyone,

Anybody out there having had an interview around 9/24/18? My husband and I are EB3-El Salvador and it's current as of May's bulletin. Our PD is 7/23/17, and we had our interview back in 9/24/18 in Oklahoma City where the IO said everything appeared to be perfect but because of retrogression we had to wait until October 1. We've raised an SR, went to an infopass appointment (which was completely pointless since the paperwork had been moved to the TSC), and have even reached out to Oklahoma's House Rep to maybe get the paperwork moving. Still no luck, and eight months later, we're still biting our nails off. Any comments on your experiences or tips would be greatly appreciated!

EB3 - ROW: How long to get notice for interview
Hello people.
I am an EB3-ROW filer from Sacramento, CA.
PD: 06/01/2018.

My EAD/AP Combo card was approved on 4/17/2019.

I-485 - Case Transferred to NBC on 02/07/2018. Since then nothing. Its been close to 4 months. How much time does it take for EB3-ROW filer to get called for interview after case transferred to NBC?

L1A to Greencard I-140 premium processing
Hello all,
Is it true that premium processing option is not available for L1-A?
USCIS processing time keeps pushing back instead of going forward which is frustrating. It was supposed to be September now but has now pushed back to July.

8.5 Months to 10.5 Months - Multinational executive or manager (E13) - July 19, 2018

Thank you

What a Ride... smooth and cool
To be honest, I'm the luckiest person in the world for Immigration related Stuff, NO RFEs, NO VISA Denial, NOt a single Question during Overseas Visa Interview, had I-485 Interview on 27th May at Des Moines Iowa, took 11 mins for both and walked away, just asked name and Date of birth for both of us, ohh!! ya (IO) actually she took the interview to my 5 1/2 years old US born kid, about PapaPig, paw patrol, and other stuff... and kid literally my kid asked her, are mom and dad getting a green card? I want to see it can you please? unfortunately, she said I don't have now but they will get in a mail very soon, and we laugh each other, she told us. everything looks fine, at this time I don't need anything and Congratulations to both of you, you will get GC soon may be in a week. "NOT a Single DOC she asked"

We walked to the Zoo at 11 I got a text "We ordered your new card"

Just believe in urself guys

Second interview schedule for employment based
Hi,

(This is under Employment based category)
On Nov 2018, we had address change (Maryland to Virginia) and as we requested , we received address changed paper on Dec 01 , 2018 too. Then we were called for interview on Jan 4, 2019 at Baltimore Office after 1 year waiting period .
At USCIS office, the IO officer came and told that we should be interviewed at Virginia office. But we showed him the USCIS letter , our address change letter. This made him to talk with his supervisor . He asked us to get interviewed there . Our case need to be reviewed . We waited 120 days .

On May 24, 2019, we received notification of interview cancelled and notice order . Yesterday , again new notice 'my interview was schedule'. Later in the evening again ' Interview cancelled and notice order. AND this morning it again changed to ' my interview was schedule. This makes us so confused .
Anyone with same experiences?
Thank you.
