Hello,

I attended the H1B interview today and got the white form (221G) and asked me to submit some more documents in the VFS, Hyderabad.

Interview Questions:

It was a lady officer, the interview was good but she was very concern about the project that I am going to work in US.

1) Did you go to USA earlier? (As I got the B1 VISA).
2) Education details. Verified the highest degree documents.
3) Total years of exp. Verified the previous exp. Letters.
4) How did you get the job in H1b Company?
5) Project going to be worked in US. (Told in house project).
6) Can you provide the project details and agreement between the client and H1b Company. I told the client name however she is not convinced and asked for the project related documents.

Finally she gave me a white form and asking me to submit some of the documents through VFS.

Did anybody get the VISA after getting 221G white from?

Thanks,
KKR

So my tips, Just be confident and answer properly and right things.

Also my good luck as that VO issued visa to almost everybody till I was there.

H1B visa interview and stamping, sucessfully completed in Chennai consulate.
My interview was scheduled at 9.30. I entered consulate at 9.00 after a initial security checkup.

Then i told to stand in a queue, where one executive asked my Passport, DS - 156 & 157, Original I-129 and other documents related to the petition, HDFC visa fee receipt & my visa appointment order. She checked all my documents by having a quick glance through the documents and put it in a separate pouch and gave it to me back. Then i asked to go to a separate building where 2 executives welcoming the applicants so respectfully and show our seats after checking the appointment time. From 9.20 to 11.00 i was simply sitting in one place till my turn comes to stand in queue for the final interview with visa officer. I met the visa officer at 11.15 and came out of U.S.consulate at 11.20. In that 5 min. my interview lasted only for less than 3 min.

My interview started with...

VO : How are you doing today?
Me : Fine sir. How are you?

VO : Fine.Give me your documents?
Me : I handed over the documents which is in a separate pouch.

He started to browse my documents...

VO : How many years of experience you have in your field?
Me : I said...xxxx

VO : Where did you graduate?
ME : I said... xxxxx

VO : How many employees are working US company?
Me : xxxxx

While i was answering this question, he smiled and handed over all the documents to me and said get your passport in a week time through courier.

I smiled... and said, thank you very much and moved out the place.

I collected my passport on the next day evening at 4 pm in VFS collection center.

The important thing is, the visa officer didn't asked me any documents.

Don't panic in the hall... Be cool....

All the very best for all.

Regarding H1B
I have attended the interview for H1B visa in 2007 in chennai consulate and it has been suspended after getting the lot of 221(g) queires and after that the case is still pending with uscis and i don’t have any hope on that visa.

Meanwhile i got a good opportunity to work in Riyadh , Saudi Arabia . Presently iam working as Software Engineer for an IT company. I have more than seven years of experience in this field. Please tell me how should I apply for H1B visa from Riyadh once i start working there . What are the rules. Do we have to apply from consultancy from riyadh or we have to only apply from india and can attend the interview in any country.

Please help me, I would be very very thankful if you can provide me your contact number so that we can have more discussions.

Thanks for your cooperation.
