I am a young professional residing in Jamaica, went to the Embassy in Kingston Jamaica. Appointment on December 17, 2012 at 7:30 am and got through by 9:30am
I prayed and used this website to prepare for my interview. I want to thank God and the persons behind immihelp website and everyone that shared their experiences. I had used this website to prepared for the interview and wrote down a few questions and practiced. I learned from the website that it important to demonstrate strong ties to your country. My situation is this; I had been working for 1 year, I am single, no children, Dad lives in USA (I did put that on the form too); I had been rejected in 2010 but judging from now I was never prepared for the interview..
I did not lie, I told them the truth to all the questions they asked me
The questions were:
1, Are you in school?
2. Where? (I told them at this point that my primary duty is work)
3. Where do you work?
4. What do you do?
5.How many times you been on the work and travel programme? (I had travelled twice on the work and travel programme with a J1- visa 2007 and 2008)
6.What do you study now? (I am now doing a Masters in ............................................)
7.What you study in your first degree?
8.Is it at .............................university?
9.How long have you been in your Job?
10.What is your salary after tax? (becasue i wanted to show ties, I explain my salary in that; I have a basic pay of ..............after tax plus an additional ........................for motor vehicle upkeep becasue I am a traveling officer;;;;;; )..Please note that is the truth....The job and the car is two strong ties
11.How long you plan to stay? (I told her,,,NO more than 2 weeks because i have to return to my Job, only got ...............days vacation from work)
12.Who you plan to visit?
13. Where did you visit during the work and travel programme?
14. Where you want to go?
15. Have you ever been issued a visitors visa?
Then she said visa is approved and enjoy your trip..She did not ask to see any document or anything about my dad...However I had pinned my workers ID on my blouse so she could see it and had my car key in hand..
Three days later I picked up my passport at the delivery service and I got a 10 year visa.

visitor visa rejected
I applied for B2 visa visiting US for Christmas on invitation. I confidently replied to all the questions asked reg. me and the person sponsored but got rejected saying i coud nt convince the consular officer. I was asked only question that what are u going todo for 6 months? for which i repied ...I am going to visit and we cant finish visiting all the places in just one month. yet i was rejected.

My In-laws attended B2 visa interview at Hyderabad on today,Visa was approved for both of them.questions are given below.........

Visa fees payment via NEFT
I paid visa fees for me and my son via NEFT. I even received the confirmation that receipt is activated and I can schedule appointment. However, I could not schedule it after multiple attempts. The feedback received said I can retry. But it was in vein.
I called helpdesk. They asked me to delete my son's profile that was added as dependent. It also did not work. Again when called, they asked me to add the same back to my profile and write an email with NEFT details. I am still waiting for further solution. Please check this before doing NEFT.

B2 Visa approved
I am an international masters student in Germany, went for a B2 visa in Frankfurt US consulate in early December; just had this conversion with some weirdo visa officer.
Here go:
VO: why you want to go to US?
ME: Am a masters student here so would like to have a good christmas and new year holidays with my long time friend in DC.
VO: your masters got nothing to do here.
ME: I meant am a student so would be in vacation.
VO: Do you know there are lot of guys in DC from XYZ country? by naming my home country
ME: I don't no
VO: didn't your friend tell you about it and DC is cool?
ME: he didn't and I asked him to show my documents.
VO: did I ask you for a document? how much is your monthly income?
ME: XYZ but I had also a chance to earn ABC amount during my internship from German company
VO: when you will finish your study
ME: September 2013
VO: that means you are in the middle right?
ME: yes but I have paper that shows the fact!
VO: did I ask u? how much is enough for you travel?
I was frustrated till this part of his question and thought it was hopeless.
ME:2000€ but will stay with my friend.
VO: where is your German resident permit?
ME: just showed him and told him am legal till Sep,2013
VO: then suddenly said your visa approved will send you in a week
ME: thank you
Now looking forward to see for how long he gonna issue it.

Thanks a lot to immihelp.com.My parents had their interview today at chennai consulate and got their B2 visas approved.My documentation was prepared exactly according to the step by step guidance provided by immihelp.Also,I thank members of immihelp who shared their experiences about B2 visa.
The questions posed to my parents were- where do you want to travel,purpose of travel,annual salary of dad,job description,kids at India,They verified my husband's PP and read the invitation letter.That's it.
