Cancellation of US Visa for alleged overstaying by one day
I had visited US on B2 visa in 2005, with a Return flight ticket on Lufthansa;Return tickets are always valid within 180 days; I did not revise my flight ticket nor my overseas travel/mediclaim policy; That proves I have not overstayed; But when I visited in Dec 2011, a DFO issued me Form I-193 Cancelling my B2 Visa for alleged overinstay by 1 day back in 2005; (Visa Valid upto 09MAR2015) based on his "Paper work with him";I was admitted to US in 2008 w/o any objection; I feel that a Data Entry Error might have caused this problem; I"ve been asked to get fresh Visa after returning to India. Can I appeal against the Visa cancellation?

Parents GOT their visa on second attempt
My parents attended their interview on DEc 2nd and by the Grace of God , got their visa approved on their second attempt.
My dad was asked most questions

VO:So you got ur visa rejected the last time?

Dad :yes sir

VO :What is ur purpose of visit?

Dad :To spend the holiday with my daughter and family, some quality time with our g/daughter and also for some tourism. But i have to come back by May end as my daughter in Australia is having her first baby after eleven years of marriage and also its around the time my other two grandsons visit me from Dubai. one is a special needs child ( I told him to mention about them coming back as it may be their only chance)

VO: Oh wonderful ur daughter is having a baby. Where is ur g/son, the one who is a special needs child?

Dad : In Dubai Sir.

VO:Do you have ur own property?

Dad: No sir i dont but we have been living here from my motherinlaws time

VO: What do u do now?

Dad: I am a retired Veterinarian

VO: Where did you work earlier?

Dad:I was a designated Veterinarian taking care of cattle and pets at the town owned by TATA Tea( i asked him to say this as they might wonder what a Veterinarian is doing in a tea company)

Then he turned to my mom and asked. So where are you going to live in the STates?

Mom: We will be living with our daughter in Clarksburg, Maryland.

VO: Congrats your visa has been approved.

Mom : Thank you very much

Dad: Thank you soo much and happy holiday to you.

They got a ten year multiple entry. The first time they attended the paper work was a mess done by the agent and they also answered miserably.

One piece of advice. If you are sponsoring ur inlaws/parents - DO UR OWN PAPER WORK AND SEND IT TO THEM. That is what i did the second time and i also mentioned in the DS 160 that i prepared. Thanks to immihelp for the wonderful guidance. I emailed the question and answer to my parents and I made sure i grilled my parents with a mock question sessions every weekend.
