Visa Rejected
My parents applied for VISA and were interviewed in Delhi and got rejected.

My father is an accountant with 9 yrs of service left and my mother is a housewife. They took interview in English. Both of them manage to understand english but speak with breaks (heavy indian accent).

The VO had a 20 mins argument with a guy got interviewed before my parents and he was in a very bad mood as my parents noticed.
He asked something with US accent and my father coundnt understand very well and asked to repeat ; he said you dont even understand english (rude way). My father just smiled and then he asked give me reason that you will be back. He said, he has to continue his job after coming also have 2 other kids in India, daughter is married and lives in same city as him.
But, VO rejected saying sorry I dont think you will come back .. .and at last said 'maaf kijiye' in hindi ...

What may be the reason for his rejection, I just dont get .. I have seen people with bad english and all getting in with no problems .. Next time I am going to have the interview in Hindi. Can anyone suggest when should we take next interview, they had it on 23rd Sept 2011.

Thanks in advance

B2 visa
This part of VISA processing is really sick. My B2 VISA got rejected 2nd time. Reason: I do not have proper ties to come back to India. The interviewer was not ready to listen to me. I showed him my employment papers, leave approval letter from my company and the invite letter. but still he rejected

What other documents or what else can i do to convince him that i will come back to india after my 2 weeks vocation. we have many properties and family for which we will come back, but no luck. What do these embassy people think of us..we have no other work than to go and get settled over there. In that case, even our india embassy people should not allow US people to come to india without checking.

Parents cleared Interview - Hyderabad
Visa - B2

Standard questions, straight answers. Thats all.

Interview was over in 3 mins with success.

I think its important to let your future interviewees know NOT to show any urgency / desperation / pleading. Have them tell themselves - "If they want to give, I'll take it ... if they dont, that wont kill either"

Do ur part (paperwork, bank statement, invitation letter from sponsor, travel itinerary etc) - rest is God's business.

Good luck!

Parents Visitor Visa was rejected
My parents had an interview on Sept 27th and their B2 Visa was rejected. My husband was sponsoring them. Unfortunately my passport had my maiden last name instead of my husband's last name, and they were asked only one question. Why didnt I change my last name in the passport and they were not ready to see any other documents. My parents got nervous and didnt show the marriage certificate. They were told to reapply after three months and were told that I should change my last name on the passport. This was really unexpected and disappointing.
