I’m a F2B applicant, filed i-765, I-485, I-131 on Sep 26, 2018. Lives in Houston, Texas.
Did fingerprint on Nov 1, 2018.
Today is 7 months and 10 days since receipt date. Nothing has changed. Status still says Received application in Sep 26, 2018. My I-485 says Fingerprint fees received.
I have job offer that i might lose soon if i don’t get my work permit in a month from now. (which will probably happen now)
I filed a SR recently and no replies.
Is anybody in similar situation as me? or Has anybody gotten their EAD and how long did it take for u to get an update?
I’m very worried and stressed right now as i ll lose a lot of what i ve worked for if i don’t get my EAD soon.

Thank you!

I just became a citizen in LA and want to apply for GC for my mother. My mother is planning to visit me next month on the visitor visa and hope she will get 6 month of stay.

Seeking advice from you all to suggest if I should apply both I-130 and I-485 concurrently with AOS while she is here. What is the current timeline? If it doesnt come in 6 months, will she get out of status?

Or is it better to file concurrently and ask for Consular processing?

Not sure which is faster and straight-forward without jeopardizing her legal stay/status.

Thank you in advance for all your guidance.

I filed for my wife's immigration as F2A and then became citizen. Attaching my timeline so far

F2A PD : 6/1/2018
Service Center : California
Naturalization Date : 4/18/2019
Upgrade Request Sent : 4/24/2019

Waiting for upgrade to be processed (Other forums say it takes anywhere from 5-10 days)
and then I-130 to be approved (30 days after upgrade is processed)

My parents missed the Green card interview appointment last year in August 2018. I have been trying to schedule new appointment for them in Mumbai since November 2018 and it always shows there is no appointment available. I try every month 3-4 times and currently checked many dates starting from May 28th through September but nothing is available.

Does anyone has any experience rescheduling the Interview date? Please share your experience and any suggestions.
Indira A
