L1 B approved
Great forum and thanks to every1 for sharing their experiences!!!

my 2 cents
Specialized skill set the only question on which your visa is decided.

Please don't get dejected incase the VO is rejecting the petitions of other candidates in front of you.
I saw rejections happening in front of me but I kept my nerves.

How you present your case when it comes to specialized skill set matters alot.

Thumb rule: be Honest and Confident in what ever you say!!

Best of luck!

I had appeared for L1B interview on 31 July 12 , and i have very smooth experience of clearing it. Though i have seen many rejection in front of me , but due to god grace i was selected.

Question asked:
1.How long you have been with company ?
2.How much you earn ?
3.What you do in your company?
4.How long you are working on this product ?
5.In what phase is this in ?
6.Tell me about your project or product on which your working.

Observation:-
1.They try to judge your specialized skills
2. Your detailing about product must be very realistic and in simple term.
3.Be confident , but don't look overconfident and try not to argue with them.
4.All ways try to start with positive note. So prepare well with all the question in forum. Great Forum!!.

Good Luck!!

L1-B Not Clearly Approvable
I had a mixed experience with Visa Interview. It lasted for almost 10-12 minutes and finally VO decided that i should go for other category rather than L1-b as it requires company product knowledge which was not in my case.

All the best to the other applicants.

L1B Rejected
I was asked if you had done Development or Modification. They don't trust developers. It's a gamble!

L1 B Visa Interview
Hi Guys,

First of all I would like to thank Immihelp for providing me guidance..

I attended the L2 Visa interview last week and it was approved.

Questions asked:

1. Who is the client?
2. How long have you been working in current org?
3. your onsite and offshore salary?
4. Specialized skills?
5. Total experience
6. Specialized skills again...

I was very nervious and shaking..but explained my experience and sp. skills perfectly.

I think VO assess how genuine you are and your specialised skills. If these are genuine then visa is your...no matter how you communicate...

Thanks,
DD
